Andy Wilkinson is filmmaker based in Northern Ireland. After studying Aerospace Systems Engineering at the University of Glasgow, Andy worked for various television production companies in Belfast for broadcasters such as the BBC, Channel 4 and TG4. In 2024 he attained a PgCert from Queen’s University Belfast in Audiovisual Post-Production. Currently, Andy is co-producing Éanna Mac Cana‘s second feature film. Through his own production company, Hern Hog Films, he is developing Rabie Mustapha’s debut feature and producing Méabh Ní Dhoibhlin short narrative film Grave Symptoms. He is also producing two feature documentaries at Little Ease Films and working across their development and television slate. Additionally Andy has been selected as part of the second edition of the Rise Producer Programme by BFI Doc Society.
