Andy Wilkinson is a filmmaker based in Northern Ireland. After studying Aerospace Systems Engineering at the University of Glasgow, Andy worked with various television production companies in Belfast for broadcasters such as the BBC, Channel 4, TG4 and RTE. In 2024, he attained a PgCert with distinction from Queen’s University Belfast in Audiovisual Post-Production.
In 2025, Andy was selected as part of the second edition of the Rise Producer Programme by BFI Doc Society.
Currently, Andy is producing Éanna Mac Cana‘s second feature film, funded by The Reel Art Fund. Through his own production company, Hern Hog Films, he is producing Méabh Ní Dhoibhlin short narrative film Grave Symptoms, funded by Northern Ireland Screen. He is also producing two feature documentaries at Little Ease Films and working across their development and television slate.
